“Before I joined the talent hub I didn't think drawing could be anything more than a hobby. Now I want to design buildings one day.”
Daniel lost his father at age 7, and the loss of income put his schooling at serious risk. His mother, a market vendor, could no longer keep up with fees and supplies for Daniel and his two younger sisters.
Prayista Foundation enrolled Daniel in our Education Access program in 2021, covering his school fees, uniform and books. A field officer noticed his talent for drawing during a home visit and referred him to our Art & Design talent hub the following term.
Today, Daniel is top of his class academically and mentors younger children in the art hub on weekends. He hopes to study architecture after secondary school a dream that felt impossible five years ago.
